Introduction to Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)
A hyperbaric oxygen chamber is a controlled, pressurized environment designed to increase the body’s oxygen absorption. This elevated pressure enables enhanced oxygen delivery to tissues, promoting faster healing and overall wellness. The therapy is employed across various sectors such as healthcare, sports, and wellness. In medical settings, it aids in treating conditions like chronic wounds, carbon monoxide poisoning, and infections. Athletes leverage it to expedite recovery after intense physical exertion, while wellness centers use it for rejuvenation, improving skin health and boosting energy levels.
In essence, the hyperbaric oxygen chamber plays a crucial role in supporting both therapeutic recovery and general well-being by enhancing oxygen intake under pressure.

Introduction to Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
1. Increasing the oxygen concentration in cell tissues can promote blood circulation and accelerate the elimination of toxins in the body. It can be used to treat diseases such as carbon monoxide or cyanide poisoning.
2. It promotes vasoconstriction, reduces chamber pressure and improves tissue swelling such as edema. It can be used to treat diseases such as gas gangrene and acute burns.
3. Using high pressure to reduce the volume of bubbles in the body or lumen, treat submersible diseases and gas embolism, promote angiogenesis, help wound healing, and is used to treat problematic wounds, diabetic foot lesions, radiation soft tissue necrosis and other diseases.
4. Activate the body’s immune function, enhance the bactericidal power of white blood cells, and use the peroxide properties of oxygen to produce antibacterial and bactericidal effects on anaerobic bacteria. It is used to treat bacterial infections such as chronic refractory osteomyelitis and necrotizing soft tissue infections (such as necrotizing fasciitis).
5. Add antibiotic efficacy to treat tissue infections of various aerobic or anaerobic bacteria.
It can relieve tissue inflammation after radiation exposure and promote the recovery of ulcers or bone necrosis.
It can increase tissue oxygen partial pressure, improve tissue ischemia and hypoxia, enhance cell repair ability and promote wound healing.
